I’m the daughter of an immigrant with TPS and it’s hard to know that soon I may be separated from my mom.

She’s the wonderful mother of three kids. She works hard every day to keep food on the table, when she also has to worry about fighting to stay in in the country with us. It’s hard, every day I worry about her, I can’t think about my education because in the back of my mind I’m always thinking about what’s going to happen after she’s gone.

I went to Philadelphia to rally with her against family separation and I was proud to see thousands of people marching outside the ICE offices to free the children. Families should never be separated especially children from their mom or dad.

Letter from the daughter of a Harvard TPS Coalition member. She is 12 years old, with two little sisters who are 3 and 4. She is a good student in the seventh grade who dreams of going to college one day.
